Daycare description / philosophy

Welcome to Garderie sur le Lac, a home daycare in the beautiful surroundings of Notre-Dame de Ile Perrot. . What sets us apart from other home daycares is that we focus on developing your child's mind by using the outdoors, arts and crafts and the child's surroundings as our tools for growth. As a Childcare provider, your child will be encouraged to grow, learn, and develop in a safe, nurturing environment at every stage of their development. .

An example of how we will use our environment as a learning tool is that each week we will learn a color and for that week, we will focus on where that color can be found in the elements that surround us. I believe that it is never too early for children to begin developing the connections between their world and their surroundings.

What to expect as a Parent:
- Minimum of 1 hour in the morning outdoors and in the afternoon. (Weather permitting)
- Arts and Crafts customized to the child "˜s stage of development
- Bilingual Story Time
- Baby Einstein and Friends educational videos
- Themed days and celebration of all Holidays
- Weekly movie that compliments the color or theme of the week

We have 5 places available full-time and 1 space available till February starting September 2012.

Tuesday -Saturdays: 7:30-4:30
Closed on Statutory Holidays

Meal plan includes: Small Breakfast, Snack, Lunch, and Snack

Not included: Diapers, Baby Cream, Formula, Sunscreen, and Insect Repellent. (These items to be provided as a safety precaution for reasons such as child's allergies)*

We are a Peanut Free Daycare.

We pride ourselves on being versatile so that we can accommodate the needs of the parents. Our goal is keep the parents informed on the wonderful progress their children are making while enjoying themselves at Garderie sur le lac.
